Our lens supplier is based in Thailand, although the company is Japanese. They’ve been producing all types of lenses for decades. They are one of the top lens manufacturers in the world. As we like to say, quality is central to everything we do.
Coatings
We apply an anti-reflection and anti-scratch coatings to all our lenses.
Anti-reflection
This coating prevents reflected glare and helps you see better through your lenses. People get a nice view of your eyes, too — and who wouldn’t want that?
Anti-scratch
Scratched lenses is no a nice thing, which is why all our lenses have an anti-scratch coating. Please keep your glasses in their case when you’re not wearing them.
Filters
UV protection
All our optical and sunglass lenses contain UV-A and UV-B filters that block 100% of UV rays.
Blue Light Filter
It blocks high-level radiation emitted by digital screens — protecting your eyes and keeping them fresh.
Sunlight Filters
Sun glare protection is categorised from 0-4, with 0 being the lightest and 4 the strongest. Most our sunglass lenses are category 3, which provides enough protection for everyday use.
We do have a few frames with category 2 lenses. They’re only meant to look good and don’t offer enough protection for a day by the pool.
