Frequently Asked Questions
Products
What types of glasses do you offer?
We offer a wide range of Sunglasses and Blue Light Glasses (also called Screen Glasses), to suit many needs!
Our glasses are designed by our team in Manila, and all our frames are handcrafted with great care from the highest quality materials, in specialist factories in either Vietnam or China. You can learn more about design and manufacturing processes here.
How much do your glasses cost?
At Komo Pairs, we like to keep it simple. We design our glasses in-house and work closely with our production partners so we can offer you quality designed eyewear from ₱2,799.
What is the lens quality like?
All our lenses come with anti-reflection and anti-scratch coatings, plus UV 400 protection, at no additional cost.
Our sunglasses come with CR-39 lenses. CR-39 is a lightweight, durable polymer that holds color beautifully.
How protective are your sunglasses?
All our sunglasses have UV400 lenses, which blocks 100% of UV light including UVA and UVB rays.
As for the filters category, most of our standard lenses come with a sunlight filter of 3, which is perfect for sun protection in modern day-to-day living. We have a few exceptions in our range, which have a lesser sunlight filter of 2 or 1. These tend to be those with light-looking, tinted lenses. We don't advise that these are worn for sun protection.
What about the Blue Light Filter?
Blue light refers to a portion of the light wavelength that can be seen by human eyes and that is considered to be potentially tiring at the retinal level when exposed to it on a regular basis. Our Blue Light Glasses (also called Screen Glasses) are non-prescription frames fitted with blue-light filter lenses to block those misbehaving blue rays.

Is the Blue Light Filter visible in the lenses?
Blue Light Filter lenses do have a subtle yellowish tint. The tint is most noticeable when paired with transparent frames.

Fit & Care
How can I take care of my frame and lenses?
Our (sun)glasses need a little bit of consideration every now and then. They go through a lot on a daily basis, sitting on our noses every day, so why not show them some love?
Here are a few tips:
If you’re not wearing them, store your frames properly inside the case to prevent damage.
When cleaning the lenses, use our microfiber cleaning cloth that comes in your pouch. We also recommend using a lens cleaner solution.
When cleaning your glasses, handle your frames by gripping the bridge of your eyewear.
Try to avoid placing your glasses with the lens down to avoid unwanted scratches and accidental damage.
